Portlanders - where is your favorite place to fish?
Specifically, I am interested in areas east of 122nd Avenue, and especially the surrounding towns and villages of outer southeast Portland e.g. Gresham, Sandy, Boring, Damascus, etc.
Vernonia Lake in Vernonia, Oregon (Otherwise known as the Mill Pond). It is stocked with Bluegill, Bass, Crapie, Perch & Trout. In fact, KUPL is having a fishing derby today. It is bordered by the Nehalem River and the Rock Creek, both with great steelhead and salmon runs during the right time of the year. posted by Jenny is Crafty at 5:35 PM on June 16, 2007
