Identity of the mysterious robotic ribcage girl

Can anyone identify this drawing of a girl with a metal ribcage in a library? The signature looks to me like "K.T. 03" but I'm not sure about the "T."

It's been driving a friend of mine crazy, and now it's driving me crazy as well! Thank you for any clues you can provide.

Where did you find the picture?

I tried a google search for female engineering drafters without elbows who have copper tubing ribcages and stainless steel spines and lack lower bodies, who are drawing up plans for the latest highly defended lookout towers, while reclining on leather cushions. Oddly, nothing.

Seriously, though, this image appears to be influenced by an artist who was sometimes published in the long-defunct Omni magazine. His work, I believe, at least inspired the Alien in the classic movie of that name.

Here you go.

I suspect, if you enjoy this image, you will like the rest of the Brass Goggles blog a whole lot.
