Looking for a vendor to do a limited run of stickers

Recommendations requested: Sticker vendors. [intel inside]

I'm looking for a short run (250-500 - I'd go to 1000 if the price was right) of full-color stickers, preferably vinyl. I'll work with a standard shape and size, no die cuts required.

The interweb is, of course, chock full of options, but I'm hoping someone has first-hand experience with someone good.

Sticker Guy is supposed to be good. I have not worked with him, but have seen his stickers. They are decent.

I second Sticker Guy though I've also not used him. I know people who have, though, and they go back to him.

I just had a couple of specialty stickers made up by MAKESTICKERS.COM. They'll let you do small runs (as few as one sticker). Reasonable prices, too.

Cafepress does bumper stickers - full color. Base price is $2.99 each, but $1.62 each if you order $15 or more. "Printed on 4mil vinyl using water and UV resistant inks - means no fading in the sun or bleeding in the rain."

Er... make that 15 or more stickers, not $15 or more dollars worth. Not the cheapest, but definitely full color.

So far I've worked with Sticker Guy, VGkids, and Cafepress... Sticker Guy is cheap, but takes about 6 weeks to get your order back to you. VGKids costs a little more, but usualy ships in about 10 days or less. The one problem I've had with them is that their glue doesn't seem as strong as other sticker makers. Cafe Press is great if you're trying out an idea or need a very very low run.

Of the three, I'd go with sticker guy if it was in the right size, and I didn't need it right away.

I've used Sticker Guy, and the service was very prompt, and of a high quality.

The guys at Infamous Illustrious make super high quality vinyl stickers for a reasonable price. They're really nice guys and take pride in their work. Tell 'em Gabe sent you and maybe they'll hook you up a little.

I just got 500 black and red on white vinyl stickers done by Contagious Graphics. Cheap, quick, easy to use -- and a lot better guaranteed turn-around than StickerGuy. They do 4-color -- worth a look.

I've used StickerGuy as well and had no problems except for the wait. I also scouted around before choosing SG and he seemed to be the most recommended for short run stickers.
