Where can I buy window screens for my balcony doors in Toronto? It seems like an easy one, but I've tried Home Depot, Canadian Tire and Home Hardware so far with no luck. We have standard ~2.5 ft x ~7 ft balcony doors. Any suggestions?

When you went to Home Depot, did you talk to someone about custom orders? Sometimes, they have access to more than what's on the shelf.

If it is the kind of screen that is held in place with a "bead" you can just replace the screen. Home Depot has them with a width of 36" and length of 84". They even have a "kit" with everything but the screen. You buy the screen separately. I have done 30 windows this spring. So it is easy.

Your local glass repair and installation shop.

They do screens as well.

Seconding JayRwv. You replace the screen material in the frame -- you just buy a kit that has a roll of the screen material and the 'bead' (sorta like a rubber rope) that holds it in place. It costs just a few bucks and takes about half an hour of work.

(and you can buy this at any of the stores you mentioned)

I've done may a door (big goofy lab) and it is quite easy. You do need a special tool to press the spline (the rubber string looking stuff) into the groove. The tool should cost $10 at tops and makes the job so much easier. It is sold around the screen fabric.
