Can a guy try on a pair of pants at Century 21?

Does the Century 21 store in Lower Manhattan have a men's dressing room these days?

I know it didn't used to, but I seem to remember hearing recently that they've added one. Am I imagining things? And if they did add one, where exactly is it?

Best answer: If by dressing room, you mean fitting room then there's one on the Mezzanine level at the suit end of the big hall (the main room that opens on to the street opposite the WTC)

I'm just guessing here, but I imagine that if you go to the store and ask they'll tell you where it is if they have one.

Yeah, what mave_80 said. I think there's actually one at either end of the Men's (mezzanine) level, next to either cashier. They're always F'ing crowded, too; good luck.

Hey, it's summer, and Century21 is always crowded. Just try on the pants in the aisles.

I will second the advice that it's acceptable to just try on pants in the aisles. C21 is a funny mix of upscale and bargain basement, and its atmosphere does change somewhat by season (read: by tourist volume). You can be confident especially during crowded times over the next few months that it will be fine -- it's got that sample-sale spirit...

Response by poster: Thanks, all. I've tried on many a shirt in the aisles of the women's department, but my boyfriend's not too keen on the idea of trying on pants in public. We'll see how adventurous he's feeling.

sanko, I don't know if you've had experience with the infamously surly C21 staff, but trying to get help with even such a straightforward question would likely be something of an ordeal.
