Can anyone recommend a book on small group leadership?

During the summer I will be leading a group of 5-6 people (aged 25-35) on a hiking expedition (5 days). From my experience as a participant in these expeditions in the past the problems are invarialby "people" related i.e. some people leaving their comfort zones - moaning etc and then lowering the morale of the whole group.

I am looking for a book which discusses how to deal with situations like this.

Any suggestions would be welcome?

Try contacting someone at NOLS or the AMC's Mountain Leadership School. I'm sure they've got the resource you're looking for - and taking a course wouldn't be a bad idea either. Wouldn't hurt to learn some wilderness first aid also.
