Can i bring an epipen on plane with me? I am flying to vegas on American airlines. Anyone have experience with this thnx

I sure hope you can bring an Epi-Pen with you (I carry one for my son wherever we go ~ major food allergies)... There should be no problem as long as it has its prescription label on it.

My mother just did this on a flight in Canada. I belive that the flight attendants held it for her.

Yes, you can bring injectable meds like Epipens. They will go through security screening like everything else in your carry-on, so just make sure you have the original prescription label in case someone has an issue with it (ours is on the box, not the pen, so hopefully you still have it).

Remember, epinephrine can wear off after 20 mins so when you're more than 20 mins away from a hospital (like on a plane flight), it's recommended to bring two (or more!).

never had a problem. I have a belt pack that I leave it in all the time, I run that through the security belt, and no one has ever said a thing to me about it. If they do, just be sure to have your label/documentation.
