Was there a story a year or two back about Patriot Act/NSA/FBI surveillance in Las Vegas being used for extortion against a casino? I distinctly remember something about it but can't find anything.

A recent Frontline episode detailed the FBI requesting 2 weeks worth of hotel/casino records during a false terrorist scare in 2003. I don't think it directly related to extortion, but it may be related.

I saw the episode, which got me thinking about the topic, but they stopped short of mentioning this story. More the reason why I want to find it.
