Looking for "voyage of the mimi" theme

Does anyone know where I can find the theme song to the '80's PBS show "The Voyage of the Mimi"?

Here is a snippet of what it sounds like. Maybe it came from somewhere and wasn't made for the show?

I did QA work on the CD-ROM version. The series reaches new levels of unintended hilarity the more times you watch.

I'm not sure why a RealAudio file would be useless to you. GX Transcoder, among many other programs, will convert .ram files to other formats.

Here's a .wav (7 mb) version of the .ram file from that Geocities site. No idea whether it's the right song, though--I've never even heard of the show.

I'm pretty sure box has it. I had to watch the show in the fourth grade, and my music teacher gave us the sheet music to play the theme along with a recording. Fourth grade was a long time ago, but I am almost certain that is the music from the recording.

I didn't know how to do that. It's the right song, but it's really awful quality. Sounds like someone live taped it off tv speakers.

So it's less than optimal, but now I can listen to it! Thanks!

Man. I remember watching this in 7th grade in my Oceanography class. Definitely the highlight of the week.

Holy crap! Did we all have to watch that! Man, I still remember when they all got naked and crawled into the sleeping bag with Ben Affleck, usually late at night when I'm alone, but... what? It was an impressionable age!

Oh man, we watched this in 8th grade too! We had this ongoing inside joke re: the title, where we renamed it "Voyage of the YouYou" (it's a long story). Anyway, the theme song always stuck in my head and even to this day I've found myself humming it (bizarre, I know).

Thanks for this post and to box for finding the song - it definitely brought back some memories!
