Help me find the good side of rap

Rap/Hip-hop is misogynous, shallow, promotes violence and causes cancer. That said, once you get past all that and stop taking it personally/seriously (which doesn't mean I play it when my young kids or any other young'uns are around, or to anyone who I even suspect might take offense), I find some songs to be immensely enjoyable due to the beats, the incredible manipulation of language, and the sense of humor. These 1/100 songs make me laugh, shake, and bob my head like little else music-wise, to the point that when I come across a new one, I pretty much listen to it over and over to the point of exhaustion. So, I am listing my favorite dozen ever rap/hip-hop jams, which made the cut based on a combination of rhythm, story, hook, funnyness, creative use of language, inability to stop listening, etc., in the hope that you will list me your top 5, 6, 7, how ever many really memorable tunes you got. Ideally, the more of the songs on my list you know, the better your recommendations will mesh with my personal preferences. So, in no particular order: Lil Wayne – Shooter Luniz – I got 5 on it 50 cent – P.I.M.P. House of Pain – Jump around Snoop/Nate Dogg – Get gangsta wit it Dash – Test of a man Geto Boys – Damn it feels good to be a gangster R. Kelly – Thoia thoing Delinquent Habits – Return of the 3 A Tribe Called Quest Electric relaxation Cypress Hill – Hits from the bong Jurassic 5 – Quality control Mystikal – Shake ya ass
