IE7 display woes

This site, http://www.mydoop.org/, displays as intended except in IE7....

Since I run a mirror of http://www.mydoop.org/, I am trying to get the 'new look' on the mirror (http://www.doopcms.org). The footer on the main site, http://www.mydoop.org/, does not work in IE7, but does in Opera and FireFox.
I am NOT a programmer but can muck around and cannot figure it out. the file is available @ http://www.doopcms.org/problem/, it's a zip file. Thanks for your help!

PS: This is an open source project.

I read something in passing somewhere... what was it...?
Ah - this was it.
There's no mention/no evidence of it working in IE7, but suck it and see. Might work.
Additional - Have a read of others who had a fiddle with the css. Possible that somebody addressed the IE7 issue in there.
