BKLYN Stereo Fixin'

Hey Brooklynites, can you recommend a stereo repair shop here in the BKLYN (ny)?

If it matters (which I'm not sure it does), the stereo is a Kenwood. The thing has lost its volume. Sadness abounds.

Hey deliquescent, if you are not afraid to open it up, you can check the fuses. There should be one or two cylindrical glass/metal tipped ones in there. Pop them out you can see if the metal strip inside is broken. You can get replacements at radio shack.

well, i bought the thing in 1996, so I wouldn't be voiding any warranties. Maybe I'll give that a shot

Uh, this may not help you much, but years ago I would go to this one place on Jay Street off of Willoughby. It was in a building - not street-level. They were always playing Go. Awesome.
