I'm interested in setting up a Flash Media Server. According to Adobe, you must be running Red Hat Enterprise 3 or 4 for this to work. Is it possible that you could run an FMS on centOS?

Yes, but you might get a "wrong platform" error, which if i remember right is just a check for /etc/redhat-release. You'd need to either create a file with that name, or put an RHEL ID string in there. I can't remember what that string would be off the top of my head, but you can parse the installFMS script to check what it's looking for. FMS runs fine on Centos.
