Calling MeFi Kerry insiders: look at this picture. Can anyone explain to me why John Kerry has what appears to be a large plastic daisy flower keychain? It's kinda cute.

The answer to 'why' is probably to make the zipper on his jacket big enough to grab wearing gloves.

Machaus had a great theory, so I called around in Sun Valley,. Unfortunately, none of the resorts use the daisy as a lift pass, or as promotional schwag, so the mystery continues...

Does the Daisy have a face, seeds or writing on it? In the photo can see some black dotting on the reddish bud part of the daisy.
