Any chance of me watching the National online outside the UK ? My extensive searching turned up naught. Phoned me mum to put on a bet and it would be nice to see my pick fall at the first. Help a punter out.

According to the BBC, they will be showing the race online. for UK users. If you connect through a UK open proxy, should be no problem.

Response by poster: Never had any joy with those... (Was hoping that Starsports or similar in Asia were covering it, but nowt going.) However I'll have another crack if nothing else available.
Cheers.

If you're anywhere except Netherlands, HK or the USA, you can sign up to online betting with Bluesquare and watch it on their stream. You don't even need to bet - you can withdraw your deposit and close the account after the race.
If you are in one of those proscribed territories, a similar thing is probably available from other online bookies.

Will it be on BBC Radio 5 Live? If so, you won't have any visuals, but you will have a live commentary. I don't think the BBC block users outside the UK listening in.

Response by poster: (Jakey) I'm in the USA. (Humblepigeon) Yes they do. Update: I do have an audio stream thanks to TeamTalk/Sporting Life Audio Centre (IE only, doesn't work in Firefox), but as mentioned it would have been nice to see all the geegee's going over Becher's Brook.

My tip if you are near a bookies: Point Barrow. Yes I know it's joint favourite but I have a feeling in my water...
