Help me get a South African high school transcript

Can someone help me get a sample transcript/report card/curriculum/other literature from South African High Schools?

For reasons too uninteresting to go into, I am having trouble getting a sample transcript from any South African high school (I work for a high school study abroad company). I have perused the SA Dept. of Education website with discouraging results, and was hoping someone in the MeFi community would have some ideas. Better googling, sample transcripts of their own, help of the sort? Thanks! Bonus points for a course syllabus, class schedule, and course catalog. Private or public, no matter.

Have you tried e-mailing a school directly? I went to Kingswood College in Grahamstown and I'm sure someone in the administration there would help you. They have a website, kingswoodcollege.com, but it doesn't seem to be working right now

Yeah I've emailed some of the schools we work with and they cited confidentiality issues... can only give the transcripts to the student or a guardian.

I've emailed an adult South African friend of mine. No guarantees.

Have you tried posting on travel- or country-specific forums and LJ groups? If nobody here can help, it's definitely worth appealing to other online communities.

Also, it might be a bit of a stretch, but you could also try Googling "South African penpals", and post a request to one of those sites; that might at least put you in contact with students or teachers who could assist you.
