try deleting your VLC preferences. posted by phaedon at 4:44 PM on March 22, 2007
No, I didn't install anything else. And throwing away the preferences didn't help. The console is logging this:
Error locating symbol - dlcompat: Symbol "_JVTDecoOpen" not found
I did download a fresh copy of VLC, but that hasn't helped either. posted by valkane at 4:51 PM on March 22, 2007
it looks like you have a problem related to your quicktime update, and that a lot of people are having the same problems. im actually on 10.4.9 so i dont know how much more help i can be. You should try reinstalling QT 7.1.3. posted by phaedon at 4:58 PM on March 22, 2007
and here's a thread to help you with that. posted by phaedon at 4:58 PM on March 22, 2007
