Question: Looking for a few good web design schools in the Los Angeles area?

What are a few good schools to learn web design and web programming in the Los Angeles area?

There are so many schools in Los Angeles, I find the search to be a little overwhelming.

I'm looking to take some classes in Flash/Actionscript, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and possible a few other programming languages.

I would also like to take a few classes in graphic design.

Money is a concern and I'd like to enroll half time.

Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

UCLA extension is very high quality, but if money is an issue you definitely want to look elsewhere.

SMC (Santa Monica College) is excellent for the price ($15 a unit still I think)

SMC is excellent, indeed. It is well regarded and many students transfer to UCLA and other UCs, so SMC has a made a concerted effort to make their courses very UC-like. It's probably the best community college in the state.

I took some weekend classes and learned online & from books through lynda.com. Worked pretty well for me.

SMC doesn't offer the advanced web design classes that I need. I'm looking for a school that offers classes in advanced web design (Photoshop, Illustrator) and advanced web programming (Javascript, PHP, Flash). I'm also considering online courses/schools.
