What is this bird?

What kind of bird is this? and where could I go for similar questions?

I have a feeling I'm going to have other unidentifiable species in my photos, so if anyone could refer me to a site where I could identify other species of animals by submitting a photo, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I think it might be a kind of egret — where was the photo taken? That will help narrow it down.

I'd say a Hammerkop. Maybe here?

Have you tried flickr's Bird ID Help Group? And yes, your shot does look egrettesque or heronial.

Gubo: The photo was taken in Disneyworld, in Animal Kingdom. I'm afraid that probably doesn't narrow it down at all.

The new photo looks like Fins' hammerkop. Here's a list of the species at the Animal Kingdom — I see there's a hammerkop there, so that might well be it.
