Help me identify this song...

Last night I saw Bonnie "Prince" Billy. Scout Niblett was supporting. They sang a beatiful duet, a call and response about her love being like a pine tree, and then like a willow, and an oak etc. Anybody know this song? Thanks in advance.

I do not know that song, and I do not mean to derail, but if you haven't seen Old Joy yet, I recommend it highly.

I'm pretty certain you're describing The Pine Tree, originally performed by Johnny Cash and June Carter. Lyrics here.
