Question: Is there any knowledge base software out there that is reasonably simple to configure?

Two questions in one, relating to a new web site I'm working on. First: is there any knowledge base software out there that is reasonably simple to configure? What I have in mind could conceivably be done through Movable Type or a wiki, but the kbases I've seen are a better fit. Suggestions? And second: my hosting provider does not register .info domain names -- can anyone recommend a .info registrar?

godaddy.com does .info for $7. I don't have an answer to your other question.

mcwetboy: can you describe what you're trying to do a little more clearly, and what your technical level of skill is? I'm not aware of any turnkey knowledge base software, but might be able to point you towards a platform or webapp if I have an idea of what you're doing.

Technical skill is not much at this point -- I can handle Movable Type and PHP, maybe a bit more as needed. Looking to create a searchable archive of answers to frequently asked questions -- I'd like (nested) categories and a search function. As I said, I could probably hack something from MT to do this, but was wondering if something else out there was more suited to this task.
