Construction Software Package

What software package is good for heavy construction that includes most aspects of the construction process?

Many construction software break down different stages, such as inventory or bidding on jobs. I'm looking for one that includes most stages in the construcion process.

What do you want to do with the software?

Our construction management firm uses Primavera and sometime MS project for scheduling and MC(2) - that's supposed to be "squared" - for estimating.

Our field managers use various excel and word templates for recording progress, meeting information, etc.

one of my client uses Masterbuilder, at least for bidding and accounting. MS Project for scheduling.

Timberline markets itself as the full enchilada, although I've only worked in places where only part of the company use it.

Pick up a copy of ENR or Cost Engineering Journal or something, they're full of ads for software companies. You can call all these people and they'll gladly send someone to your office to give demos, literature, etc.

From what I understand Primavera is one of the more popular solutions.
