Beer Mustache

Beer-filter: My boyfriend told me that a few years ago he saw a beer label that had a man with a handlebar mustache on it...

He has recently grown a nice handlebar andI'd like to buy him the label, or a reproduction of it. I am having a hard time figuring out what brand and brew it was. I thought he had said Red Hook, but that didn't pan out.

Best answer: Are you certain? Ballard Bitter seems like a good bet.

I thought of Ballard Bitter, too.

(Which I've never seen. But it's extensively featured in Hate.)

I can't resist adding that there are such things as beer mustache mugs.

Response by poster: I guess they don't make the Ballard Bitter anymore, because I couldn't find it on their website. Thanks for the help!

I toured the Red Hook brewery some years ago...at the time they said that they were discontinuing Ballard Bitter, but they were continuing to use the recipe for the Red Hook IPA. Which is a shame, I loved the BB packaging.
