Any Bike Repair Classes in the S.F. Bay Area Peninsula?

I wanted to attend Bike Kitchen but it soon became apparent that the ride there was too far for me.

Are there any available within riding distance in the S.F. Bay Peninsula (Palo Alto to San Mateo)

You could take Caltrain up to 4th and King, short hop over to there.

Depending on what you need, there's tons of shops in the area I can recommend: Palo Alto Bicycles and Mike's Bikes in PA, Chain Reaction in Redwood City, Passion Trail in Belmont, etc. REI does classes occasionally but more towards the spring and summer.

I'd support the Bike Kitchen classes if you can make it up on public transit. Roaring Mouse, American Cyclery, and Valencia Cyclery are good shops in the city, as well.

The Bicycle Outfitter" in Los Altos has decent free clinics on Saturday mornings. There's a schedule on the linked page, but it's out of date. You ought to give em a call. Nice people there.

In case you're still looking - check out The Missing Link in Berkeley.

They haven't updated their page for the Spring, but their classes last fall were awesome. Give 'em a call.

Cheers
