I just left the States with a rocketfish webcam I'm intending to use with my iBook G4 on Skype. The webcam monitor is working fine, but Skype isn't recognizing any camera as connected.

Google reveals bad things. Does anyone have a better answer? Or is it off to a foreign Apple Store with me?

Just for giggles, do you have the latest version of Skype? I had a friend who couldn't get video to work, and it turns out the version of Skype they had just didn't support video.

The Skype forums say you need to use the 'Included drivers' and it would work. If you don't have the disk, RocketFish was thoughtful enough to not bother posting them on their website.

RocketFish apparently has 24hr tech support (1-800-620-2790), so if nothing else, you can waste your money/time fighting with them at your convenience.
