Here are some. You could also just use a label and cut it out in the correct shape. A way to get bigger ones would be to buy sticker pages for the printer (I am sure they must make this) and design your own bubbles and print them off and cut them out. posted by sulaine at 10:53 AM on January 5, 2007
Check out the scrapbooking supplies at Target or your local crafts store (Ben Franklin's, Michael's). posted by junkbox at 10:54 AM on January 5, 2007
When I did something similar to this I just got some blank white sticker sheets for my inkjet and printed them myself. The bonus of doing it this way is you can print the text inside the speech balloons too. posted by MsMolly at 10:56 AM on January 5, 2007
3M has a diecut post-it note in the shape of a speech bubble. I've seen them at various office supply stores before. posted by nathan_teske at 11:03 AM on January 5, 2007
They used to sell them at Ritz Camera (aka Wolf Camera), but their stock fluctuates a lot. The ones they used to have were rather small, though. (They were for pasting on 4x6's, mostly.)
If you have a steady hand with a pair of scissors, I 3rd the suggestion of just getting some blank Avery label stock and running them through a printer, using whatever image and size you want. posted by Kadin2048 at 11:23 AM on January 5, 2007
I've found them in the camera/photo/film section of my supermarket. posted by srah at 12:20 PM on January 5, 2007
Thank you... So far the 3M pads look to be ideal, but strangely they only seem to be available in the UK when I search for them.
Does anyone know a US source?
Custom cutting: good idea for one off bubble shapes, but I'm going to potentially need 200 or so, so cutting all these out by hand isn't too practical
Scrapbooking stickers: great idea, I forgot about the scrapbooking world. My only worry is that some of those stickers would be too small (the post it size is perfect for a large poster size photo print) posted by FearTormento at 5:01 PM on January 5, 2007
