You might try allmovie.com's keyword search. posted by box at 3:01 PM on January 2, 2007
Try browsing IMDB keywords. I had a quick look and found about 200 for World War One (see under WW1), and about 100 for "summer camp".
Not sure what type of films you're looking for, but Renoir's Le Grande Illusion (WW1) is apparently very highly thought of. posted by Infinite Jest at 3:02 PM on January 2, 2007
Summer Camp Nightmare freaked me out when I was younger. It is basically Lord of the Flies meets Meatballs with some corny amateur night schtick thrown in. posted by Slap Factory at 3:07 PM on January 2, 2007
Taps is set in a military school rather than a private school, but it does have kids with machine guns. posted by Burhanistan at 3:09 PM on January 2, 2007

Maybe this is some kind of viral marketing contest, and the first person to find a movie that meets all four criteria wins a prize. A case of Diet Vanilla Cherry Dr. Pepper, or something. posted by jbickers at 3:57 PM on January 2, 2007

The best private school movie I ever saw was If... by Lindsay Anderson.
Unfortunately, Amazon says it's only available on VHS, but this is a truly great film. It stars Malcolm McDowell and has one of the most memorable film endings I've ever seen (not to mention some great corporal punishment). posted by dhammond at 5:33 PM on January 2, 2007
Public (private) school in the UK: The History Boys; Goodbye, Mr. Chips.

Re: Lord of the Flies
The original is best, although black-and-white.
This list makes me resent the fact I live in a place where mail-order video rental is not available. posted by Goofyy at 11:46 PM on January 2, 2007
