Dentist recommendations in Chicago

Please recommend a dentist in Chicago for a standard annual cleaning and general dental check-up. Prefer office location in Loop, Gold Coast, or River North. Thank you!

I've been happy with Robert Deaver ([phone]) - on Washington near Michigan. The wife is happy with Dennis George ([phone]), who is further north on Michigan, near the MCA.

If I might tack on to this question — I'm interested in the same data, but my own caveat would be that I would be looking for someone who specializes in, or is qualified in, dental anxiety and/or sedation dentistry.

I'm in Logan Square and looking also.. would hate to repost another "good dentist in Chicago" question, so if anyone reads this and knows one, that'd be nice.

He's not in Chicago, but Edwin Schlesinger [phone] in Northbrook is worth the drive. Great care, newest technology, really great staff. If it's possible to love your dentist, you'll love him.

I live in Wicker Park and I have a great dentist at the corner of Ashland and Blackhawk (about 1400 N Ashland). I'm at work and can't for the life of me remember his name and Google can't find his phone number. He is very flexible when it comes to office hours and submitting bills to your insurance company. He filled in rough spots on all my teeth (from grinding while I sleep), fixed an old filling, gave me two new fillings, and my cleaning for about $35-45 out of pocket. I promise I will find his card when I get home. He's awesome and an all-around interesting guy to know!! (And for you single ladies - he's young-ish and very cute)
