It's like all of the keys on my keyboard are mapped to the submit button whenever the cursor is in the main body area. Turns out that it's a known bug. Some versions of Firefox will trigger this on both Blogger and Gmail if you have it set to search as you type. I turned this function off and have had not issues since then.
