best time and day to post on ask metafilter

When is the best time and day to post on ask metafilter to get the best and most replies?
Or is anytime pretty much the same as any other? Any holidays to avoid? Or maybe posting goes up on holidays?

This post was deleted for the following reason: this would be for metatalk, not ask mefi
This is a metatalk question. It's been asked before, even. I could go find it, but I'm too lazy to lift a finger. Wag, yes; lift, no.

Usually, you don't want a lot of responses. (If you do, understand what Chatfilter means.) You want a small number of correct responses with an appropriate amount of information. That will have a lot more to do with what you ask and how you ask it than with when you ask.
Questions get most of their responses while they're on the upper half of the top page. It will get pushed off this prime zone the slowest when traffic is light and few people are reading AskMe and posting questions. It will get pushed off fastest when many people are reading and Asking.
My bet is that, in the end, time of day doesn't matter in the slightest.

An excerpt from the Ask A Question Page...
"Is your question regarding MetaFilter, MetaTalk, or Ask MetaFilter? Post it to MetaTalk, which is designed for questions about the site itself."

Ask it after 8:00 PM (est) or on holidays when there is a good chance that you will get answers from people who have been drinking.

The daytime in the middle of the week when everyone's at work and bored out of their minds.
