Bluetooth headphones

Recommendations for bluetooth headphones, primarily for music so not interested in the single earpiece products.

My phone (SonyEricsson w850i) has bluetooth built in, but my laptop doesn't so any suggestions for an adaptor would be appreciated. These BlueWalker adaptors can enable use with any standard audio jack: anyone had any experience with them or similar?

Hmm, I tried googling it, but all the results were for cell phones intended for hands-free driving use. I don't think you'll find much along the lines of for music, but I wish you luck.

I believe you're looking for a headset which supports the a2dp stereo bluetooth profile.
google: a2dp profile headset
I have not used any, so I can't give you a recommendation though, sorry.

I have the Jabra BT620s headphones, and they work pretty well with my LG VX8300 phone. They are not perfect, but do sound quite good. I have a Jabra BT 350 Bluetooth headset for my phone, too, and have been very happy with it (hence my purchase of the stereo headphones).

I have the Logitech headphone with the BlueTooth adaptor that I use with my iPod at work.

They're not perfect and can be uncomfortable if you wear them for long periods of time (I'm not a fan of behind-the-head headphones anyway) as they cannot be adjusted. However they are pretty efficient and very convenient as I am not bothered with wires. and can actually move around without worrying about yanking earbuds out.

I second hankbear's vote for the Jabra BT620s. I have them and love 'em. They also have an iPod adapter so I can go back and forth between my phone and iPod.

This was just posted on Engadget a few days ago. As a previous poster mentioned, it's not enough to have Bluetooth, I believe you need Bluetooth 2.0 that supports a2dp for stereo headphones....and it appears yours does. The headphones from Creative come with a 1/8" jack-to-bluetooth adapter, so that should work fine with your laptop.

I have the Motorola HT820s and have been reasonably pleased with them. Audio quality is excellent for the price, but they suffer from the same behind-the-ear design that can be uncomfortable for extended listening. Battery life is good. I can get through almost 2 days at work listening to music on a single charge. It really is slick having iTunes pause so I can take a call on my cellphone through these headphones =D

I use these almost exclusively with my laptop, though, and I've found that there is a certain order I have to do things in to get them to pair properly. I've had all sorts of problems with all sorts of Bluetooth gear, though, so this hardly surprises me.

The Creative phones look promising but aren't available yet where I am (UK). Like others I'm not a fan of the behind the ear design, which most of the available products seem to have. Another possibility appears to be the Motorola S805 (fairly expensive and no adaptor), or there's a Sony Ericsson earbud set HBH-DS970 (ditto)

I second the overall good review of the logitech headphones. Woot keeps putting one of two versions up for good prices, maybe half what they normally cost. You can see what they look like at the woot site, I'm not sure about where else.

Very good audio, I agree with the extended listening comments but it is not terrible. I am pleased by my purchase.
