What kind of Daisuke Matsuzaka gear can I get for a baby?

A friend of mine has just had a baby and I really want to buy him a Daisuke Matsuzaka footie pajams or some such as a gift as the baby's mother is Japanese and a fan of Daisuke's. Also, as a Red Sox fan I'm looking for any excuse to deck out the baby in team accessories.

The only problem is that as Daisuke's a new signing there's not much official stuff out there so I was curious if anyone knew of any options out there.

I think your best bet is to call Twins on Yawkey Way. If anybody can put No. 18 on a Red Sox onesie they can. http://www.yawkeywaystore.com/ (I say call them because this would be a custom job.

At Christmas Eve Mass outside Boston, I saw a kid wearing a Matsuzaka jersey, so official stuff does exist. Good luck!

Filene's Basement had a decent selection of merchandise within days of his signing. I can't say I noticed any baby things, though I did see youth sizes. If you're in Boston it's worth a try. I picked up a t-shirt myself.

OMG -- wait until he throws a major league pitch. The last thing your kid wants is to be wearing the 2006 version of the Irabu jersey and have you to thank for it. :)
