The Purple Protagonist??

For a friend: Name the heroine - similar (looking) to She-Ra but with a purple outfit. Hair: Black/Brown with purple in it. May have ridden a white horse. Help?

Hah, I have literally just discovered (i.e. right after pressing post) that the horse is irrelevant. The heroine's figurine (a toy as I didn't make that clear in the question) was on a horse from something unrelated to this character.

I'm assuming you've already looked through all of the official She-Ra action figures (none of them seem to match your description of brown/black hair with purple in it).

Do you have any idea of what time period the action figure is from?

mid-1980's to early 1990's is most likely.

Perhaps an antagonist? Evil-Lyn was definitely purple.

I just came across this line of action figures I had never heard of - The Golden Girl and the Guardians of the Gemstones. Could it be Moth Lady (second down, apparently a member of the Evil Forces)?
