More than just BlackBerry

Is it possible/practical to have multiple server-side mobile messaging solutions running on our Exchange server simultaneously?

I am the front office liaison to our IT department's efforts to build out a mobile messaging capacity. IT is focused on Blackberry Enterprise Server, naturally, but we have a lot of people with Treo and other handsets, who don't want to carry two pieces of equipment.

Given that BlackberryConnect is not yet supported by Verizon or Sprint -- and would only help with Palm OS devices anyway -- I am wondering whether we could simultaneously run Blackberry Enterprise Server together with the cell phone companies' various proprietary server-side solutions (e.g., Sprint's PCS Business Connection Enterprise Edition and Verizon's Wireless Sync Enterprise Server.)

Why not ask the vendors?
