Free + easy hosting for a few media files?

A friend that uses Blogger wants to be able to embed mp3s as links. I'm looking for a free host for them for the music files, 'cause Blogger only lets them upload pictures. Any recommendations for such a service?

I'm not sure that this will do what you want---you want the link to launch the MP3 file in a player?---but I find MediaFire a great place to post files for downloading.

I have a friend that raves about box.net. I have used it a bit, seems pretty simple and clean and would appear to meet your needs based on what you've asked for.

Well, this radioblogclub thing gives you HTML referring code to embed their player and the song you choose. But the thing is, I don't know if they let you upload. (Search for a track, press the blue play button next to it, and it'll give you referrer code.)

If you want them to be downloadable (as opposed to an embedded music player), send them to yourself via YouSendIt or SendSpace and grab the URL.

Best answer: Google pages should do the trick.
