Floppy Laptop Lid Solution?

Floppy Laptop Lid: Toshiba Satellite 2450 (bought in Canada, FWIW). The lid is flopping around. Are there any online tutorials/instruction manuals for how to fix this annoyance? Can it be done without spending $ or ordering parts, etc.? Thanks.

And here is one source for replacement hinges, I am sure there are others.

Not apples to apples, but I can swap these on most Dell laptops in ~30 minutes.
