OctaMED to MP3/WAV.

How can I take OctaMED tracker files and make them into mp3?

I downloaded some modules, and using winamp and diskwriter plugin, I was able to make them into mp3.
I didn't have anything to play the med so I downloaded the winamp plugin. With diskwriter configured correctly, the med still plays normally and doesn't write anything. How can I successfully convert them? Thanks!

Best answer: Play in winamp, record with some other recording application (say, Windows' inbuilt sound recorder). You will then have a .wav file which you can compress with lame or whatever to mp3.

Response by poster: Here I was thinking record would only record the input of the default recording device! Thanks for the solution.

winamp has a wav out output option where it outputs directly to a wave file

As pompomtom said, but maybe better to use GoldWave or Audacity to record the audio?
