Please help me find a picture of any Danish medical practitioner taken sometime between 1865 and 1875. This is kind of a long shot, I know.

What a strange, strange question.

Well, I haven't looked at it in years, so I don't remember exactly what's in it, but The Illustrated History of Surgery could be of some help to you. Great book, by the way.

The website of the Museum of Medical History in Copenhagen is here. They have a picture archive claiming to contain "the largest Danish collection of portraits of doctors."

This shot was taken in Flensburg 1864, which would have been the same year that Schleswig-Holstein was lost. Think the guy in white is a doctor?
