Weblogs Inc.: to accept or not accept

Has anyone here accepted an offer to (or currently) write for a blog on the Weblogs Inc. network? I have some questions inside if so.

I'm just curious how it's worked out; they've offered me a decent rate-per-post (for me, anyway) and it all seems pretty cool. Anything I should watch out for? Horror/love stories?

There have been problems with contracts in the past.

I know someone who works for them as a blogger. He tells me he's always had positive experiences working for them.
