what are some things i can do to get back at my neighbours for exessive zoning calls?

How do i get back at my over opinionated neighbors for calling the zoning commissioner 7 times this year (who happens to be a fairly good family friend)?
keeping in mind i have to keep this relatively legal. i would like to find ways to cause general discomfort and/or irritation to their general lifestyles.
what are some ideas i can use for passively/anonymously getting back at my OH so perfect neighbors.
my grandmother had suggested calling all the local churches and offering my neighbors evergreens as x-mass tree donations. (shes so funny but it would work)
about myself: I take care of my 85 year old grandmother and my 45 year old mother. Both of which, I care very much for my grandmother is a heart patient and my mother survived some ass-hat trying to drive through 4 stopped cars at a stoplight at 30mph(about 60kph, her being the first car in the chain). i rent my basement rooms out to college students so i have enough on my plate all ready in my mid twenties so keeping it neutral in my neighborhood up until now was my motto aside of all the hassle my neighbors create for me.

Response by poster: im totally legal they just like knit picking this isnt the first year they have done it either. i am also aware that vengance never solved anything but it did make one feel better once and a while. but im not going to go into the nature of the infringements. but just about every person iv talked to seems to have issues with how rediculous some of the claims are

Maybe you could get back at them by becoming a better person. Like, by learning how to spell.
