Why can't I login to sitemeter?

All of the sudden I can't log in to my sitemeter account. I have no idea why. The login form is correctly filled out, and I don't even get an error message. It just won't let me access my statistics. Any suggestions?

Contact their support? They are the only ones that can reset your password, or can tell what is going on.

This happened to me some time ago, turns out their server was down for a day or two.

Err, I should say: parts of their server.

Did you just upgrade to IE7? The anti-phishing filter can do some *weird* things to website logins. I've had to completely disable it to get the JA-SIG Central Authentication Server (which my work uses HEAVILY) to work. Just 'turning it off' doesn't work, there's a whole nother setting past that -- 'completely disable'.

Response by poster: Thanks for the responses. I have contacted their support and am waiting to hear back. . . it's just that I check this thing compulsively and was hoping you guys would have a quick fix. It's not an IE7 issue as I'm using Firefox.

What's especially weird is that I have a separate account for a different blog, and I'm able to log in to that one just fine.

Anyway, thanks for the comments. I appreciate them.

Same here: can't log in to one Sitemeter account, but no problems with the other two at all. I e-mailed them, too, but no answer yet.

Response by poster: davidmsc, is this a recent problem? like, starting yesterday?

Back when I used Sitemeter, I would experience not being able to log in as well. I finally stopped using their counter when I was unable to log in for almost 3 weeks.

I'd say you should go with another company. They were totally unresponsive to support requests, and I never got a peep from them or their site as to why I wasn't able to log in.
