200 Cigarettes

Name this 200 cigarettes song

Ok, this song is not on the soundtrack. You can hear it in the background while Ricci and her friend are standing outside a punk club arguing about whether or not to leave with the two punk boys. It comes before GVB's 'Boogie Wonderland', is mid to fast tempo with a wonderful yelled chorus. It doesn't really have a GVB vibe though.

I know that's not much to go with. Thanks.

Is it one of these (list taken, after a bit of googling, from here)?

I Want Candy - Bow Wow Wow
Ladies Night - Kool & The Gang
Our Lips Are Sealed - The GoGo's
Lady - The Commodores
Pump It Up - Elvis Costello
Get Down On It - Kool & The Gang
Who Does Lisa Like - Rachel Sweet
Cruel To Be Kind - Nick Lowe
Rapture - Blondie
Just What I Needed - The Cars
Maybe He'll Know - Blue Angel
It's Different For Girls - Joe Jackson
In The Flesh - Blondie
Tainted Love - Soft Cell
Do That To Me One More Time - Captain and Tennille
Bette Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes
A Message To You Rudy - The Specials
I Don't Care - The Ramones
Ever Fallen In Love - The Buzzcocks
Love Is The Drug - Grace Jones
Another One Bites The Dust - Queen
(What's So Funny About) Peace Love & Understanding - Elvis Costello
Oliver's Army - Elvis Costello
Give It To Me Baby - Rick James
Romeo & Juliet - Dire Straits
More Than This - Roxy Music
Shake Your Groove Thing - Peaches & Herb

I've not seen the film since it was released on video in the UK, which was probably about seven years ago, can't remember much about it, beyond the line "these matches are really disappointing me", and have no idea how accurate that list is – it's certainly not complete, since this review in the NY Times claims it has "49 party songs on its soundtrack".

Did you try googling the chorus' lyrics yet? ("chorus lyrics"+"lyrics")

Also: Yahoo Movies' page appears to have a complete list of music credits. Might ring a bell.
