I need to change the backup battery on my Roland Juno-60 synthesizer.

I know <s>little to</s> nothing about electronics, but have colleagues who could probably get the job done with the proper guidance. The more explicit the instructions the better, but we could start with:

1. What kind of battery do I need (and where could I purchase one)?
2. Where does the damn thing, y'know, go?

Thank you for helping me not pay out the wazoo to a questionable repair place!

it'll be a round, thin, flat battery that looks a bit like a quarter. the best place to ask is on the analogue heaven mailing list. they know their analogue.

Frequently, these things are not user serviceable on instruments. It's a racket, yes, but a profitable one.
