Looking for statistical data of United States economy / consumption / production in Excel (or other) format to convert to XML

I'm looking to do some visualizations of U.S. economic consumption and production, and would need the final form to be in XML format for the software I am interested in using (Processing). I have looked around at sites like: Economic Research Services, but would like more options (other than farm-related).

Does anybody have any ideas?
