The Sydney thread has brought back fond memories of drinking local beers during my trip there many years ago. Does anyone know if Toohey's New or Old is available in the USA? posted by mmascolino to food & drink (1 comment total)
I would have to say, with 88% certainty, "No, it's not." I don't consider myself widely traveled within the US, but I do consider myself perceptive as to beer market penetration and availabilty, and I frequent bars and stores where they have various obscure beers, and I've never seen it.
