Where can I buy a cinched waist, 50's looking lady's winter coat?

5 years ago, I bough the world's greatest coast from a vintage store. It was princess seamed, with a cinched in waist, a flared skirt that ended at my knees, and fur coller and cuffs. It was super femmy, 50's looking, and I wore it so much it's now in shreds.

I've searched online high and low to find that curvaceous little coat of my dreams, but I can't find it- least of all at daddyos.com and the other rockabilly stores I get my wardrobe from. All the coats I find at normal stores are boxy rather than hourglassy

Does anyone know where I can get a coat like this online? Preferably cheaper than 250 dollars and not in leapord print.

Maxstudio.com has a few coats like this, though I don't think they have as much yardage as what it sounds like you're going for. They're not cheap, but might be worth a look.

Ebay. Ebay is the best source for relatively cheap vintage stuff, and I've seen quite a few coats of the style you described on ebay for a fraction of the price. Remember to check the measurements though, since hardly anything is ever refundable.

This is certainly above your price range, but sounds similar to what you describe: fox collar coat

This is very girly but might be too frilly for you.

This one looks nice to me.

This longer one probably my favorite but a little over budget as well.

It would help to know your size! Here's an adorable coat for a great price that sounds like exactly what you want, but it's a bit small. Enokiworld is my favorite vintage site; some things are tra la la expensive, but others are quite affordable. I didn't find what you want, but it's worth checking in to see what they've got in stock. Also, I'm doing some part-time work at a vintage store, and if you want to email me privately with your size range, I can certainly keep my eyes open for you -- we're just starting to list things on ebay, but if I see what you want I'll contact you directly. Agh, I forgot to mention that the linked coat is missing its original fur collar, but you can find those as separate pieces if you look -- and at that price it might be worth the extra hassle to have it added later. It's just the shape I thought you'd love.

I just got this LLBean faux-shearling coat. It's way more dressy than my usual winter gear, and I just started wearing it this week. Pretty warm, too. The hooks that hold it together in front are poorly designed, but I got mine at the outlet, so I'm living with the annoyance.
