Troubleshooting Adobe Breeze problem

Has any on had problems with Adobe Breeze 5.1 Presentations made with audio not playing in IE?
We are hosting Breeze content for a client and are experiencing a problem that we cannot resolve. It appears to be an IE issue based on the fact that when you play the course in Firefox or Mozilla the audio plays fine. But if you run the course in IE, under certain conditions, the audio won't play.
The server we are using to deliver the course is a Windows 2003 Server. It has 2 NIC cards and 2 internal/external ip addresses. There are 2 web sites configured under IIS 6.0. Adobe JRun 3.1 is installed and is connected to one of these websites.
Using IE we did the following tests:
On the client machines in my office (3), none will play the audio served by the JRun connected site. The course will load but the audio won't play and the audio status bar says "Buffering...". The same machines will play the audio served by the non-JRun site.
However, in another development office of ours, neither site will play the audio.
I am more inclined to believe this is an IE issue and that it really doesn't have any thing to do with JRun or the server but I can't be sure.
Adobe gave us a test .swf that plays either an external or an internal .mp3. You can see the behavior by going here and clicking external .mp3. Note: this test file replicates how Breeze loads its audio.
Non JRun Site: http://72.32.20.91/soundtest.swf
JRun Site: http://72.32.183.131/courses_e/flash/soundtest.swf
We have added .bpa and .mp3 to the MIME list in both IIS 6 and JRun to no avail.

What happens with Breeze content is that you download .swf and .mp3 when there's audio. .swf, when browser requests it to play, attempts to find the associated .mp3 and streams it.
With certain firewall/proxy, it is stripping out .mp3 header information, and this makes it difficult for .swf to play.
For some reason, w/ IE it becomes even more an issue.
For an experiment, try downloading the same file from...say somewhere you don't have to go through proxy/firewall, then you'll see that you can hear the audio.
I'd like to help more but I'm going to MAX, so my email access will be limited next week. But hit me up if you're at MAX (click on my profile and you'll get my name) and we can talk more.
