Gift ideas for second wedding anniversary?

What are your suggestions for a second wedding anniversary gift?

The big day is coming up in about 2 weeks, and I'm a bit stumped about what to get my husband.

I want to stick to the traditional gift of something cotton, but I could use some suggestions for options that are more clever than clothes or socks.

We already have a weekend away planned, so the gift doesn't have to be elaborate or expensive. More cute and thematic.

How about some nice Eqyptian cotton sheets for the bed?

A copy of "Cotton Fields (The Cotton Song)" as recorded by either CCR or the Beach Boys. It features the immortal and romantic lines, "Don't care if them cotton balls get rotten/When I got you baby, who needs cotton".

I gave my husband a Hawaiian quilt (we got married in Hawaii.)

He gave me a Brazilian hammock with room for two.

Both are 100% cotton and something we can share.

We happened to be living near a traditional textile mill at the time, so I bought my wife a very nice locally-made cotton blanket for year 2. And some other non-cotton-related stuff.

Or, to add to my suggestion, you could burn a whole CD of cotton-themed songs.

The Good Gift Guide (Alison Pearl) recommends
napkins, tablecloths, sarongs, beach towels, bedspreads, thematic potholders, chefs' aprons, personalised tea towels, cushion covers, throw rugs.

I made a chair cover for my husband once out of a fabric he really liked (it matched his tattoo).
