Album view while looking on an iPod?

Is there a way to get the cool new album view from iTunes 7 if you're looking at the songs on your iPod?

I love the new album views available with the new iTunes 7, but with my puny hard drive, I keep most of my music on my iPod. And iTunes doesn't seem to want to let me use the new views, despite the fact that all my songs have artwork attached. What's the solution?

I've asked this on the iLounge Forums, and I've gotten the consensus that no, you can't use the coverflow view when browsing your iPod. Perhaps it'll be in a 7.x update.

CoverFlow requires more memory and horsepower than is worth the gain currently, due to its OpenGL requirement.

Yeah, there is pretty much no way that this would work, unfortunately.

There is currently no way to do this, but at least you can view the full cover art in the new firmware on your iPod. They look nice on the new 5.5 gens.
