Moto Q wifi question... I know the Verizon Moto Q does not come with wifi becasue Verizon wants to push it's own data plan. I know it has a mini sd port and not a SDIO, but is there any chance on getting a mini sd wifi card to work?

I googlefu'd this already but I'm looking for a forum or group working on hacking the Q to get wifi support. Apparently, the Q could support a mini wifi adaptor if it had more power running to the mini sd port...

So my question... anyone know where I can find this project or know if anyone is attempting to patch the firmware to increase voltage... or if that's even possible?

I know moto won't release and update for the Q because of pressure from Verizon and I think the wifi card is about as low as it can be (there are only one or two in production that I could find- and I think the second one I found was the same thing with the product stuff stripped)

The vx6700 is too bulky, help me find free wifi for a Q... I have the 9800 now and I am really looking to take a step up the next time around. Also, piggybacking on my own question- any good outlets to sell an almost mint 9800?

I'm trying to decide with staying with verizon (I love how big their network is, but I am getting tired of them locking their phones down) and getting the Q or going with t-mobile and getting their new Dash. It has wifi.
